Focus your life on God!

The basic problem about the current world is its inability to find out the right focus. In the contemporary world, people often fidget from one thing to the other, from one philosophy to the other and from one role model to the other, never really able to fix their heart and mind on a true entity that gives true peace of soul. Sometimes, we feel that this thing is true or this person is on the side of truth, but soon we will be disappointed and shift our focus to something or someone else. Then what is the right solution for the modern world?

Jesus Christ says in the Holy Scriptures: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Mathew 6: 33). This is the secret of true happiness. Focus your life on God and everything else will be added to you!

St. Augustine of Hippo was an extremely brilliant man. But, he led a wayward life as a youth and teenager. He squandered his life in sensuality and carnal pleasures. He sought happiness in various things, shifting his focus from one thing to other; but never found the true happiness until he encountered Jesus Christ one day by reading a particular verse from the Holy Scriptures. That was the moment of his enlightenment. The moment the focus of his life was shifted to God, all things changed; all things were put back to right, and his life was full of light!

So, that is what everyone of us need to do. Focus our life on God. Give God the first place in your life. Seek the kingdom of God first and everything else will be added to you.
